(FAQ below)
Who
Stole My Dead Husband? is a tribute to growing up
Italian in Brooklyn, New York. The experience is very
difficult to put into words. How do you explain crazy?
More happens to an Italian family in one day than
happens to most people in a lifetime, at least that's
how I remember it. Here are a few more things that I
remember; you call pasta "macaroni," sauce is called
"gravy," nobody makes meatballs as good as your mother,
talking loud is normal, you argue about everything, you
eat macaroni on Sunday, you learned how to play the
spoons as a kid, your friends are referred to as
goombahs and your favorite musicians were Lou Monte,
Louis Prima and of course, Frank Sinatra. Brooklyn
Italian is more than just having a parent or grandparent
who was from Italy. It's a faith, a religion that asks
you to suspend disbelief to the point of absurdity.
The show, created by local Northwest
artist and former Brooklyn native Lou Pallotta, is a
wide eyed look into a cultural phenomenon that has been
the source of great entertainment, food, music, comedy,
drama, controversy, stereotyping, chaos and confusion.
But to the author, it was just a lot of fun. So come
join the most zany, unpredictable and notorious families
ever to hit the stage for an evening of macaroni,
meatballs
and madcap misadventures. It's a toe tapping, feel good,
learn to talk with your hands event that will leave you
singing, laughing and dying for more. It's an offer so
good, that it is impossible to refuse. Capisce?

schedule is Friday and Saturday evenings. Show times are
at 7:30pm but show up a little early cause the show must
go on!

The doors open at 7:00 p.m. We
recommend guests arrive just before 7:00 since there is
often a line. Early arrival allows you time to have a

style at round tables of two to eight. We custom
arrange the room for every show so it could be different
than the your previous visit.

separately from your party, simply make the request with

What is the dress code?
Feel free to wear (almost)
whatever you want but since you don't get to go out to a
show like this every day we encourage you to dress up a
little bit! Anything goes here at the Spumoni Gardens,
so dawn you best dress or suit or even wear your
favorite feather boa. Also I should warn you if Momma
sees you wearing a baseball hat in doors she will swat
it right off your head and please no t-shirts, shorts,
sneakers, or anything that shows off your underwear.
May I bring my children?
We recommend that you only
bring children 17 and over as there are some adult jokes
that younger crowds might not understand. However, we
have no official age restrictions for our shows so it's
up to the parents digression.
Can I take pictures?
For the safety of our
performers and the enjoyment of all guests, photography
is prohibited in the theater prior to, during and after
the show. Photographs may be taken at anytime in the

www.vippdx.com for a great time and tell them Luigi
sent ya.

gratuities?
Gratuities for your meal and
beverages are not included in the ticket price. Please
take care of your servers as they work very hard to help

you tip the better the service. There is an 18%
gratuity automatically added to groups of 6 or more that
are all paying together.
Who can I contact about
bringing a large group?
Contact our box office
(1-800-966-8865) and ask about setting up your group.

celebrating a birthday, can we do something special?

filled balloons. You will be unable to decorate the
table yourself, but show up between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m.

you. Please call our box office (1-800-966-8865) if you
